Mark gave an interview for MTV telling more about Plus 44.For the moment blink-182 stays on the sidelines :
"It is an indefinite hiatus. I don't know what to expect at this point. I'll never say never, but we are taking a
break. But as for what happens in the future, I don't know."
And he continue with :
"It's all very electronic right now. We have a girl singing part of the vocals. She and I are trading off vocals. Travis is going on the Warped Tour with the Transplants, and we'll record up until he leaves. And if the record's done at that point, we'll release the record later this year."
But the main piece of news comes for Travis' assistant. The singer Mark is talking about is Carol Heller, former member of Get The Girl, a female rock band that sounds something like Garbage.
And contrary of what most people thought, "Plus 44" is in fact the country code you must dial to phone to United Kingdom, because it's the place where Mark and Travis were when they thought about this side project.
Travis will perform the drum parts (an electronic one) and will also play the piano and keyboard on the album.
